The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received ehe report of
the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report,
hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is per
connection assessed at the cost in effect at the time of
installation.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Sth
day of_April, 1995 , at 3:30 o`clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of
Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in
the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof
as estimated.

This improvement had been envisioned tor several years by ihe City of West St. Paul. In 1993 they approached the other
governmental bodies that have jurisdiction of this street in order to obtain design approvai and agreement on cost sharing.
This has now been accomplished through the cooperation of the City of West St. Paui, Dakota County, R�amsey County and
the City of Saint Paul.
The Project will be advertised and the Contract will be Iet by the Ciry of West St. Paul. The City of Saint Paul will pay its share of
the costs through an agreement with Ramsey County.
ADVANTAGESIFAPPROVED:
A newly rebuitt roadway wili improve the drivability of this street and continue our efiorts to improve the street system in
Saint Paui. The new street ighting will also improve safety in the area.

Normal probiems associated with construciion, such as noise, dust, and general disruption will occur.
The City wili Iose this opportunity to successfully participate in a joint eftort, by several governing jurisdictions, to improve a
