Zn the �iatter of Zmprove West Seventh Street between St. Peter Street and
200T East of Wabasha Street (City Project 95—P-1126) by reconstruction the
center median island, rearranging the traffic signal installing new lighting,
and doing all other work necessary to complete said improvement.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of
the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report,
hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $95,0�0
financed by Planning Economic Development Funds.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Sth
day of_April, 1995 , at 3:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Ghambers of the City Ha11 and Court House Building in the City of
Saint Paul.

This improvement is being proposed in conjunction with the construction of the new Children's Museum. We will reconstruct
the center island in order to accommodate a"drop off lane" next to the new Children's Museum. There wiil also be trees
pianted in the island and new lighting installed.

The Children's Museum will be accessible and the site will be visually appealing.
