THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1
That Legislative Code § 61302(a), entitled "Application forms and fee" is hereby amended by
adding new language to read as follows:
(a) Application forms and fee. All applications sha11 be filed on appropriate forms.
Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 462.353, Subd. 4, a fee to defray the costs incurred in administering
official zoning controls established pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 462351-364, as set forth in the
schedule below, shall be paid by the applicant when a zoning application is filed. The fee for
applications filed with the planning administrator shall be paid to the department of planning and
economic development. The fee for applicarions filed with the zoning administrator shall be paid
to the office of license, inspections and environmental protection. Zoning control application fees
maq shall be amended fi�am tiirte-t�tinre by ordinance.
Section 2
That Legislative Code § 61302(b), entifled "Fee Schedule; amendment of fees," is hereby
amended to read as follows:

(9) Reduced fees for multiple approvals: For any permit or variance application in

commission at the same public hearing as a rezoning, or a permit or variance
applicarion in subparagraph (2) through (7) with a higher fee, an additional fee of
two hundred fi�ft fi��y�ive{�'r�5�6j 250.00 sha11 be added to the rezoning fee
set forth in subparagraph (8) or to the higher fee in subpazagraph (2) through (7).
(10) Subdivision review:

(15) Late fee: For any applicarion made for any development commenced without first
obtaining all required permits and approvals, the fees listed above shall be
doubled, to a maximum additional fee of three four hundred thi t fariq=five
dollars �9's3&5:06j 430.00 , to offset costs associated with investigafing,
processing and reviewing applications far such development.

2 (16) Refunds: For a zoning case withdrawn or found incomplete before final approval,
3 the zoning or plauuing admiuistratoz may refund part of the fee based upon the
4 proportion of the work completed at the time of withdrawal.
Section 3
This ordinance, under council file no. , amending Legislarive Code
§ 61302, shall become effective thirty (30) days after its passage, approval and publication.
