A large sewer pipe was to be jacked under mainline railroad tracks. Soils were much worse than anticipaated. To provide a safe me[hod,
the Coniractor provided a steel casing pipe and jacked that into place and then pushed the concrete pipe into piace. Item #1 of this Change
Agreemen[ compensates the Conuactar for the material cost of the casing. �
