THE COi3NCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1
Section 22, Surety Bonds, of the Saint Paul Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 22.01. Official surety bonds.
(a) There sha11 be procured by th contract and analysis services section
mana�er of the city, through competitive bidding, as security for the faithful performance
of their duties and the safekeeping of public funds, a position schedule bond to cover the
mayor and hea�-ef director of the office of
financial services in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) each and to cover
the councilmen, city attorney, city clerk and all other heads of executive departments in

the amount of ten thousand doliazs ($10,000.00} each. The bonds shall be subject to the approval O� _(��
of the council and approved as to form by the city attorney.
(b) Should any person not be qualified for coverage under the bond covering his position, he
shall have the opportuniry to execute, furnish or file an individual bond in the amount set
forth above to the City of Saint Paui and written by a company qualified to do business
under the laws of the State of Minnesota. Such bond shall be subject to the approval of
the council and approved as to form by the city attorney.
(c) The premiums on these official surety bonds shall be paid for by the City of Saint Paul.
Section 2
That this ordinance revision shall take affect and be in force thiriy (30) days after its passage,
approval and publication.
