An ordinance amending the interim ordinance in Council File No. O1-
648 which established the Arcade Street Study Area and which imposed
a moratorium on the use of property in the study area pendang
completion of the study and any possible amendments to the City's
,---t',Comprehensive Plan or Zoning Ordinances deemed necessary to give
effect to the study.
This Council of the City of Saint Paul does ordain:
Section 1
That Section 3 of C.F. No. 01-648 adopted I 1-20-00 be amended to read:
Moratorium imoosed; lands affected, exception: Pending completion of the said study and any other
necessary studies or study recommendations, and the adoption of any amendments to the comprehensive plan and
zoning code based upon the study or studies as provided under Minn. Stat. § 462.355, Subd. (4), the issuance of plan
approvals and lot splits or building and zoning permits for any parcel of land or part thereof within the azeas of the
Arcade Street Study Area shall be prohibited for a period of time not to exceed twelve (12) months from the effective
date of this ordinance. However, the moratorium imposed herein shall not prohibit the G.G. See2er Sc�uare Limited
Partnershio from aoolvins for and, if approved. receivin� the oermits or approvals necessarv to undertake buildino
improvements in the Seeger Squaze Sho�pin¢ Center on behalf of its orovosed new tenant. "Auto Zone "
