6 A. That the parking meter pay rate at all One Hour, $1.00 per hour parking meters within the City
7 of Saint Paul be raised to $125 per hour.

9 B. That the parking meter pay rate at One Hour and Two Hour, $.75 per hour parking meters
10 in the City of Saint Paul shall be raised to $1.00 per hour, except that the parking meter pay
11 rate at all Two Hour, $.75 per hour parking meters bounded (and on both sides) of Kellogg
12 Bivd., St. Peter St., W. Sixth St. and Washington St. shall be raised to $1.25 per hour.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
6 A. That the parking meter pay rate at all One Hour, $1.00 per hour parking meters within the City
7 of Saint Paul be raised to $1.25 per hour,
9 B. That the parking meter pay rate at One Hour and Two Hour, $.75 per hour parking meters
10 in the City of Saint Paul shall be raised to $1.00 per hour, except that the parking meter pay
11 rate at all Two Hour, $.75 per hour parking meters bounded (and on both sides) of Kellogg
12 Blvd., St. Peter St., W. Sixth St. and Washington St. sha�l be raised to $1.25 per hour.

14 C. That the parking meter pay rate at all One Hour, Two Hour, Four Hour and Five Hour, $.50
15 per hour parking meters within the City of Saint Paul shall be raised to $.75 per hour.

hour parking meters within the City of Saint Paul shall be raised to $.50 per hour.
That the rate at all Fifteen Minute parking meters shail remain at $.25 per fifteen minutes.

The parking meter rates have not heen increased since 1987.

The increase will put fhe rates more in line with Minneapolis meter rates and keep pace with the rate
increases in downtown parking ramps.
The increased revenue will be used to maintain the City's traffic infrastructures. Given the ongoing
efforts to become more efficient, there are no other options than increased funding to keep the system
pro�eriv maintained. - ° --
