Section 1
9 Section 357.03 of the Saint Paul Legislarive Code is amended to read as follows:

13 The license fee required for each site, location, vehicle, facility, or for each collector ar hauler of mixed municipal
14 solid waste, recyclable materials or compostable materials shall be determined by city council resolution. The fee
15 required for a license shall also be established bv ordinance as snecified in secrion 310.09Lb1 of the Saint Paul
16Le�slative Code.

20 This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force (30) days following its passage, approval and publication.

Currently, Chapter 357 only states that the license fee is to be established by
a City Council resolution. However, the actual license fee is cited in Chapter
310; this ordinance change will cite the license fee to Chapter 310.
VANTAGES IF APPROVED:
The fee for licenses included in Chapter 357 will have a point of reference,
Chapter 310.
ISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
one apparent.
DISADVANTAGES IF NOT APPROVED:
The fee for licenses included in Chapter 331 will have no point of reference,
though the fee is listed in Chapter 310. Someone looking in Chapter 331 for a
license fee will not be able to find the fee, nor will he/she be informed that
Chapter 310 cites the fee for the license.
