An ordinance amending Chapter 60 of the 5aint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to zoning far the City of
Saint Paul and the zoning maps thereof:
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §462357 and §64.400 of the Legislative Code, THE SAINT
PAUL HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND DAYTON'S BLUFF NEIGHBORHOOD
HOUSING SERVICE duly petitioned to rezone 688 THIRD STREET EAST, being legally described as ex
part lying SELY of the SELY line of Lot 16 ext to the S W Lot 12 & ex SELY 2.5 ft of S WLY 22 ft Lot 16
and all of Lots 13, 14, 15, 17 & 18, Block 38; Lyman Dayton Addition, from B-2 to RT-1 to allow
construction of five single family homes, the petifion hauing been certified by the Planning Division on
March 28, 1997, as having been consented to by at least 67 percent of the owners of the azea of the properry
to be rezoned, and fiirther having been consented to by at least two-thirds of the owners of the property
situated within one hundred (100) feet of the total contiguous properiy within one year proceeding the date of
the petition; and
WHEREAS, The Zoning Committee of the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 1, 1997, for
the purpose of considering the rezoning petition, and pursuant to § 107.03 of the Administrative Code,
submitted its recommendation to the Planning Commission that the petirion be a anted; and
WI�EREAS, The Planning Commission considered the rezoning petition at its meeting held on May 9, 1997,
and recommended that the City Council approve the petition; and
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing before the City Council on the said rezoning pe6tion was duly
published in the official newspaper of the City on May 16, 1997, and notices were duly mailed to each owner
of affected property and property situated wholly or partly within 350 feet of the properry sought to be
rezoned; and
WIIEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council having been conducted on May 28, 1997, where a11
interested parties were heard, the Council having considered all the facts and recommendations concerning
the petition; now, therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
36 That the zoning map of the City of Saint Paul, Sheet Number 22, as incorporated by reference in §60301 of
37 the Saint Paul Legislafive Code, as amended, is hereby fiirther amended as follows:
