Gturentiy, Rose Avenue intersects with Prosperiry Avenue, which subsequently intersects with Clazence Street. The addition to C�b Foods entrance%xit on Clazence Street could create a confusing and potenrially dangerous intersection. Advantages IfApproved: � � - The newly widened roadway and re-aligned intersec6on will improve drivabiliry of the neighborhood and allow safe, unencumbered access to neighborhood businesses. Disadvantages If Approved: � Noanal probiems associated with consauction such as noise, dust, and general disruption will occur. Four trees wiil need to be removed as a result of the widening. DisadvanWges If Not Approved: . To do nothing may result in traffic congestion on Clazence Sheet, which may lead to increased accidents. EXISTING GONDITIONS Clarence is a paved street that is in good condition. The existing street width is 33'. PROPOSEDIMPROVEMEM7S it is proposed to widen the roadway from Phalen Boulevard to Maryland Avenue to 37' to accommodate additional tra�c expected from the new Gub Foods site on the west side of Clarence. We also propose to re-a{ign Rose Avenue to intersect with Clarence across from the Cub Foods main entrancelexit.
