PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The existing sidewalk surface and underlying water- proofing will be removed. New waterproofing will be placed atop the structural deck of the azeaway vaults and then a new 3" thick concrete sidewalk surface with integral curb will be placed. Xcel Energy will coordinate the reconstruction of the sidewalk surface above their vaults on E. Fourth St. & on N. Robert St wiYhin the project limits. IPiITIATING ACTION: Public Works determined that the sidewalk must be replaced as a public necessity. The accompanying "Statement of Approval of Proposed Ixnprove- ment ProjecY' has not been signed by the building owner as building ownership is in transition.. EXISTING CONDITION: Existing walk surface is deteriorated and patched with bituminous in numerous locatiotts. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The existing sidewalk surface and underlying water- proofing will be removed. Minor areas of structural repair to the underside of the sidewalk areaway structural deck will be made.
