WHEREAS, The Council izas heard all persons, objections and
recommendations pertaining to said proposed improvement and has fully
considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order
that the above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers
are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the
proper City officers shall calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall
report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City
Charter.

Improve the East-West alley in HAZEL PARK, BLOCK 4(Bounded by Case, LaCrosse, Kennazd and Flandrau) by
grading and paving with bituminous material. Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for
the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or land remainder thereof,
occasioned by excavation thereof or construction of slopes in the gradin� and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a peution signed by 65% of the abutting property owners.
EXTSTING CONDITIONS
The alley is platted 16 feet wide. The alley is unimproved. The surface of the alley is gravel.
PROPOSEDIMPROVEMENT
Grade the alley to a width of 14 feet and place hot mix biwminous pavement.
