Yes No Explain all yes answers on separate sheet and attach to green sheet Activiri Number: rch Csnfer �� 2003 BOAAD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION — 6EfJERAL FORM PRESENTE� BY COIZinS COMMISSIONER d3 - �t�5 N 4900 pA � June 10, 2003 WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners has received a petition for the instailation of approximately 140 feet of 1'/s -inch public water main in Bush Avenue, from Germain Street to 120 feet west of Germain Street; and WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposed improvement and recommends the installation of a water main and its appurtenances in Bush Avenue, from Germain Street to 120 feet west of Germain Street; and WHEREAS, Bush Avenue from Germain Street to 120 feet west of Germain Street is graded according to the duly established grade and said grade has been accepted by the city; and WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the water main improvement including construction, engineering, inspection and administration is $8,010.00 and a total of $8,010.00 is recoverable from assessments; and WHEREA5, staff recommends that the petitioner be permitted to install water service connections as part of the project and have the cost of same levied as a special assessment; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners recommends the installation of a public water main in Bush Avenue, from Germain Street to 120 feet west of Germain Street, and that water service connections may be installed at the service connection schedule chazge in effect at the time of application; and, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, subject to approval by the Honorable City Council of Saint Paul, the installation and payment for the water main and water service connections be deemed a local improvement by means of a special assessment, and be ordered and made in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 13 of the City Charter. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 27th day of Aucrust, 2003 at 5•30 o'clock p m, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court Aouse Building in the City of Saint Paul. 3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
