SUBJECT: Alley improvements - St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition, Plat 2, Block 4
(Bounded by Osceola (vacated), Fairmount, Kailroad and Dunlap)
Please determine assessable footage, cost pez foot and suggested financing on the matter
described as grade and pave the aliey in St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition, Piat 2, Block 4
(Bounded by Osceola {vacated), Fairmount, Railroad and Dunlap).
The estimated costs aze:
Construction
Engineering & Inspection
Real Estate Fee
Miscellaneous (20°l0)
Total
$10,171.85
3,051.56
991.76
2.03437
$16,249.54
Please note that I have received authorization from Larry Lueth to direct that the multiple pazcels
north of the alley right-of-way line should be assessed according to their abutting frontage, while
the single pazcel south of the alley right-of-way line should be assessed for its 50' of street
frontage on Dunlap, with the remaining southern abutting footage covered by Public
Improvement Aid. Using this formula, I estimated a rate of approximately $35.00 per assessable
foot.
Attached aze a map showing the area of the proposed improvement, and a copy of the signed
petition.
Thank you for your assistance.
