Initiating Action The project was initiated by the SG Anthony Park Communi[y Council and budgeted in 1997. Existing Conditions Lighting in this area is now provided by four wood-pole mounted lights. These do not provide an adequate amount of light, nor any uniformity of distribution. Proposed Improvements Installation of approximately 19 lantern fixtures/poles. Positive Benefits This will be an attractive lighting system which will provide an adequate amount of light with an acceptable uniformity of distribution. Adverse Effects As with all new lighting systems, [here will be some increased maintenance and operating costs to the Ciry. Time Schedule Construction in fall of 2000 and/or spring/summer of 2001.
