considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order
that the above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers
are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTAER RESOLVED, That upon the completion o£ said improvement, the
proper City officers shall calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall
report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City
Charter.

by Tuscarora, Bay, Watson and Osceola) by grading and paving
with bituminous material. Also, condemning and taking an
easement in the land necessary for slopes, cuts and fills, including

INiTTATIlVG ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a petition sio ed by 55% of the property owners.
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The alley is unimproved. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
The alley crosses C.P. Rail mainline track.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
Close the alley crossing at the C.P. Rail mainline track, piace barricades at the ends of the alley at the
track area, and improve the ditches adjacent to the railroad tracks. Grade the alley to a width of 16' and
place hot bituminous pavement.

This improvement was initiated by a petition sio ed by 55% of the property owners.
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The alley is unimproved. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
The alley crosses C.P. Rail mainline track.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
Close the alley crossing at the C.P. Rail mainline track, piace barricades at the ends of the alley at the
track area, and improve the ditches adjacent to the railroad tracks. Grade the alley to a width of 16' and
place hot bituminous pavement.
