Initiating Action The pro}ect was initiated by the "Mayors Urban Core Team" and "Saint Paul on the Mississippi Design Center". Existing Conditions Lighting in this azea is currently provided by bent straw lighting. Proposed Improvements Installation of approximately 36 historic twin acorn style light standards. Also, at the base of each tree, an electric outleY receptacle box wili be installed for tree lighting. Positive Bene�ts This will be an attractive lighting system which will provide an adequate amount of light with an acceptable unifomvty of distriburion. Adverse Effects As w3th all new above standard lighting systems, there will be increased capital, maintenance and operating costs to abutting property owners.
