As part of this agreement, the City will acquire the Advanced Recycling property for future Phalen Boulevard needs (more accurately future I-35E right of way), if Altemative W2D is selected as a preferred alternative, and more immediately to provide the temporary construction easement needs of the Metropolitan Councii to construct the Bus Faciliry. Now that the City Council has determined the preferred alternative alignment for Phalen Boulevazd and Alternate W2D is one of the prefened alignment alternatives, would you please begin the process to acquire Advanced Recycling, $50 Mississippi Street, Saint Paul, Mn 55151-4240. The estimated cost to acquire this property as provided by your staff is $400,000. The funding source is Public Works Project Number P-1189. The City has received authority to utilize RALF funds by the Met Council but I need to discuss this option further with Public Works staff before I'd feel comfortable using them.
