Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of slopes in grading and paving of said alley. INITIATING ACTION: This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 52.6% of the property owners. The project will be coordinated with the Bidwell/Congress Residential Street Vitality Project. EXISTING CONDITIONS: The alley is platted 16 feet wide. The surface of the alley is oiled. PROPOSEP IMPROVEMENT: Grade the alley to a width of 14' and place a hot mu� bituminous pavement. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $12,980 financed by assessments only. 2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of April. 1998.at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court Aouse Building in the City of Saint Paul. 3.
