due notice thereof having been given as prescribed by the City
Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations
proposed improvement and has fully considered the same; now,
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the
above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed
and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City
officers shall calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to
the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

Final Order Hearing -
PROJECT:
Improve the Alley in Block 5, Robertson's Addition (bounded by Isabel,
Bellows, Delos and Bidwell) by grading and paving with bituminous material.
Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of slopes
in grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION:
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 52.6% of the property
owners. The project will be coordinated with the Bidwell/Congress Residential
Street Vitality Project.
EXISTING CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 16 feet wide. The surface of the alley is oiled.
PROPOSEP IMPROVEMENT:
Grade the alley to a width of 14' and place a hot mu� bituminous pavement.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $12,980 financed by assessments only.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of April.
1998.at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court
Aouse Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

In the Matter of improving the alley in Block 158, Robertson's Addition by grading
paving with bituminous material (bounded by Bellows, Delos, Bidwell & Isabel)
:
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $12,980 financed by assessments only.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of April.
1998.at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court
Aouse Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
