thereto, and having fully considered the same; herefore, be it
RBSOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby orders said
improvement to be made.
Further Resolved, That the Council hereby determines that the estate required
for this improvement be as described above, and that the proper City officers submit
a report to the City Council for the purpose of the Council's making an award of
damages for the interest acquired and determination of assessments, if any, against
the benefitted property.

OLIVER'S ADDITION (bounded by Delaware, Morton, Cherokee and Page) by
grading and paving with bituminous material. Also, condemning and taking an
easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of
removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by
excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading and paving of said
alley.
IIVITIATING ACTION:
'T7iis improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 86% of the property
owners. The project will be coordinated with the Page/Cherokee RSP project.
EXI TTNG CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The surface of the ailey is oiled.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT:
8rade the�ley to a of 16' and place a hot mix bituminous pavement.

upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is not yet determined.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of July,1997,
at 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House
Building in the City of Saint Pau1.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
