Stewart, Bay and Buttemut) by grading and paving with bituminous material.
Also, condeinning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including right of removai of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of slopes
in grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 60Q/o of the properfy
owners.
EXISTING CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 2Q feet tuide. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT:
Grade the alley to a width of 16' and place a hot mu� bituminous pavement.

PROJECT:
Improve the Alley in BLOCg 2, RNERSIDE ADDITIOPI (bounded by Otto,
Stewart, Bay and Buttemut) by grading and paving with bituminous material.
Also, condeinning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including right of removai of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of slopes
in grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 60Q/o of the properfy
owners.
EXISTING CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 2Q feet tuide. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT:
Grade the alley to a width of 16' and place a hot mu� bituminous pavement.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

that the estimated cost thereof is not yet determined.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 24th day of Septemb�r,
1997, at 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Ha11 and Court
House Building in the City of Saint Paul,
That notice of said public hearing be given to tkae persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
