AIso, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes,
cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or
remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of siopes
in grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 60% of the property
owners.
EXISTINC CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMEIVT:
Grade the alley to a width of 16' and place a hot mix bituminous pavement.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves;
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $19,478.00 financed by Assessments only.
(Estimated rate per assessable foot $18.00).
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 24th day of September,
1997,at 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court
House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of

remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof of construction of siopes
in grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 60% of the property
owners.
EXISTINC CONDITIONS:
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The surface of the alley is dirt and gravel.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMEIVT:
Grade the alley to a width of 16' and place a hot mix bituminous pavement.
