The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing
upon the above improvement, due notice thereof having been given as
prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and
recommendations pertaining to said proposed improvemen� and has fully
considezed the same; now, #herefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order
that the above—described improvement be made, and the proper City officers
are hereby directed and au�horized to proceed with the improvemenY; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the complefion of said improvemen�, the
proper City officers sha11 calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall
report the same Yo the City Council in accordance with Chaptet 14 of the City
CharCer.

Improve the East-West Altey in BLK. 28, A. GOTIZIAN'S RE. (bounded by
Gotzian, Johnson Parkway and Third Street) by grading and paving with
bituminous material. Also, condemning a�d taking an easement in the land necessary
for the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of laterai support from subject
land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes
in the grading and paving of said alley.
INITIATING ACTION:
This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 100% of the property owners.
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The alley is platted 20 feet wide. The surface of the alley is dirt or gravel.
PROPOSEDIMPROVEMENT:
Grade the alley to a width of 16' and piace a hot mix bituminous pavement.
