WHEREAS, the training will be held at the Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD) Headquarters, 367 Grove
Street, Saint Paul, Mn 55101; SPPD Eastern District, 722 Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55106; the SPPD
Outdoor Range, 2621 Linwood Avenue, Maplewood, MN 55119; the SPPD K-9 unit, 1900 Rice Street,
Maplewood, MN 55113; the Embassy Suites, 175 E. lOth Street, Saint Paul, MN 55101; Minnesota Bureau
of Criminal Apprehension, 1430 Maryland Avenue, and the Minnesota Police and Peace Officer Association
Training Room, 327 York Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55101; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this professional training is to provide quality and affardable training to
outside law enforcement agencies and other professionals while training SPPD personnel at no cost; and
BE IT ORDERED, that pursuant to the 2007 Ciry Budget, the proper City Officials are hereby authorized
to remit an amount not to exceed $2,499.00 to Byerly`s located at 1959 Suburban Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55119,
to cover expenses for morning continental breakfast far the above mentioned Saint Paul Police Department
Professional Development Institute sponsared training courses.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and on record in the Office of Financial Services.

Attached as the course list for classes with locations, dates and times, that St. Pau] Police
Department offers through the Saint Paul Police Professional Institute for 2007. These courses
are attended by numerous police agencies from throughout the state and St. Paul Police officers.
At the courses, rolls and coffee aze provided in the morning session. The vendor who provides
the rolls and coffee is Byerly's (Simple to Grand), located at 1959 Suburban Avenue, Saint Paul,
Minnesota 55119, federal tax ID 41-Q968421. The amount being spent for each class for rolls and
coffee shall not exceed $131. The grand total for all classes for rolls and coffee under this
administrative order shall not to exceed $2499.
