1 WHEREAS, the St. Paul Police Department is seeking authority to use funds to pay for lodging for up
2 to eight Internet Crimes Against Chiidren Task Force (ICAC) members to attend an ICAC Task Force
3 meeting in St. Paul on July 12, 2005; and

5 WHEREAS, the ICAC Task Force's mission is to form a multi-jurisdictional operation that
6 investigates crimes involving child pronography and exploitarion of children online; and

WHEREAS, the public purpose of this meeting is designed to bring together non-city employees
and task force members to discuss ongoing issues facing the task force and to discuss policies and
procedures they are required to follow as a member of the task force; and
BE IT ORDERED; that the proper city officials are hereby ordered to pay for the above mentioned
lodging expenses related to this training for up to eight non-city employees, not to exceed $800.00 from
account code 436-34056-025X.

The ICAC Task Force's mission is to form a multi jurisidictional operation that invesrigates crimes involving child pornography, and
exploitation of children via the Internet, The agencies thaY will attend all have signed a 7oint Powers agreement with the Saint Paul
Police Department. The TCAC grant has funds set aside to cover this type of fraining. (Not to exceed $800.00).
