Application by Tenth Street Pawn for the premises at 136 10th Street.
9. Letter from the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection announcing a public
hearing before the City Council on June 7, 2000, to consider the application for a sound level variance
from James Tolaas, Project Engineer, Ramsey County Public Works, to allow rehabilitation work on the
Ford Bridge over the Mississippi River from July 1, 2000, through October 31, 2002, between the hours
of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
10. Resolution - 00 -413 - Memorializing the decision of the City Council on February 23, 2000, denying
the appeals of the Hamline Midway Coalition and JLT Group and approving the site plan with changes
to the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Planning Commission.
11. Resolution - 00 -414 - Accepting a gift from the Riverfront Development Corporation for travel
expenses incurred by Mayor Coleman.
12. Resolution - 00 -415 - Holding Macalester College harmless for the City's use of its track for the
Youth Track & Field Meet on June 23, 2000.

14. Resolution - 00 -417 - Authorizing a Joint Powers Agreement for joint purchasing between the City
of Saint Paul and the Public Housing Agency of Saint Paul.
15. Resolution - 00 -418 - Authorizing the Saint Paul Police Department to establish a spending and
financing plan for police services provided at the Summit University Weed and Seed program site from
January 1, 2000, through December 31, 2000.
16. Resolution - 00 -419 - Adopting the 2000 Neighborhood STAR Small Grant Program.
17. Resolution - 00 -420 - Authorizing the City of Saint Paul to accept $1,525,000 of discretionary funds
from the State of Minnesota to provide services to Quebecor Printing dislocated workers.

18. Resolution - 00 -421 - Requesting the City of Saint Paul, the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation, the
Saint Paul Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, and Capital
City Partnership to play leadership roles in planning and executing the Grand Excursion
Sesquicentennial in 2004 in order for Saint Paul to be well prepared for this event.

28. Resolution - 00 -429 - Requesting that the Mayor and his Administration formalize technology
upgrades for citizen access, infrastructure and develop a program for specialized training for Saint Paul
residents to increase the pool of "human capital" for Saint Paul businesses.

and the City's affordable housing goals associated with the Housing Action Plan 2000. (Report requested

32. Final Adoption - 00 -357 - An ordinance amending Sections 73.03 and 73.04 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code relating to the membership of the Heritage Preservation Commission. (Amended on

permit dogs to be unrestrained in posted off -leash dog areas of the Saint Paul park system.
34. Third Reading - 00 -375 - An ordinance amending Chapter 200 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code to
permit dogs to be in posted off -leash dog areas without restraints.
35. Resolution - 00 -430 - Denying the Taxicab Driver's License application submitted by Mr. Sadou
Bah.
36. Resolution - 00 -431 - Revoking the provisional operator status as a taxicab driver for Brian Cady for
failure to enroll in the taxicab driver training course.
37. Resolution - 00 -432 - Revoking the provisional operator status as a taxicab driver for Kidane Habtes
for failure to enroll in the taxicab driver training course.
38. Resolution - 00 -433 - Revoking the provisional operator status as a taxicab driver for Dwight Smith
