WHEREAS, Lease Agreement NAPI/O i was entered into by and between 5005 Properties,
Inc., hereinafter called the "LESSOR", and the City of Saint Paul, hereinafter called the
"LESSEE", on October 1, 2001 for 5,339 square feet of office space; and

WHEREAS, the said Lease Agreement NFIPU01 will expire on September 30, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the parties thereto have agreed to renew the said Lease A�eement NIII'I for
another year at the same rental rate;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Paragraph [2] of the said Lease Agreement NHPU01
shall be amended to read:
ADDENDUMI
[2] Term of Lease, This lease shall be in effect for a term commencing and ending on the
dates indicated below, unless terminated earlier as provided herein.

BE IT FURTHEIt RESOLVED, that the following paragraph shall be inserted as Paragraph
[8] of the said Lease Agreement NIIl'UQ 1:
[8] Cancellation or Termination. This lease sha11 be subject to cancellation and
termination by LESSEE at any time during the term hereof by giving the LESSOR
notice in writing at least ninety (90) days prior to the date when such terminatiQn shall
become effective. In the event of such termination, and on the effective date of such
termination, LESSOR shall return to the LESSEE without interest any unearned rent
that the LESSEE has paid in advance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions of said Lease Agreement
NIIl'U01 shall remain in fuil force and effect.
