9. Resolution - 97 -1302 - Finalizing City Council action taken August 27, 1997, denying the appeal of
William and Kathryn Babcock to a decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals granting a variance to allow
parking within a required side yard to continue at 459 Portland Avenue.
10. Resolution - 97 -1303 - Finalizing City Council action taken September 3, 1997, denying the appeal
of Frank Wallner to a decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals on the legal status of semi - trailers on
Burlington Northern's intermodal hub facility at 1701 Pierce Butler Route.
11. Resolution - 97 -1304 - Releasing certain easements in parts of Sherburne and Charles Avenues and
certain alleys lying between Aldine Street as widened and Wheeler Street as requested by The Marsden
Company to allow expansion of its facility.
12. Resolution - 97 -1305 - Accepting a petition alleging public nuisances at 556 -558 Blair Avenue and
setting date of City Council Public Hearing on such petitions for November 12, 1997.
13. Resolution - 97 -1306 - Amending the 1997 budget in the Division of Parks and Recreation by
adding $35,000 for Regional Park Maintenance.
14. Resolution - 97 -1307 - Approving the overall property tax levy for the City of Saint Paul, Ramsey
County, and Independent School District 625.
15. Resolution - 97 -1308 - Approving the issuance of an approximate $2,205,000 conduit tax exempt
refunding and conduit taxable bond issue to Roger H. Greenberg, Bro -Tex Company, Inc.
FOR DISCUSSION
16. Resolution - 97 -1177 - Ordering the owner to remove or repair property at 613 Minnehaha Avenue
East within fifteen (15) days from adoption of resolution. (Legislative Hearing Officer recommends
allowing the owner six months to repair the building provided a $2,000.00 bond is posted and the
necessary permits are pulled by noon, October 22) (Laid over from October 22)
17. Report from the Planning Commission on recommendations on revisions to the Zoning Code
necessary to better define parking and storage uses. (Requested on September 3, C.F. 97 -1099)
