exceed $5,000 per year, for interpreters using the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
Consultant Budget.
. D00946 Addition of $392.00 to the contract for removal and reinstallation of a concrete walkway
and steps at Fire Station 46, 33 Concord Street.
. D00947 Addition of $41,593.01 to the contract for the Saint Paul Civic Center Expansion, CP -I
Demolition, Excavation and Bridge Construction.

10. Resolution - 96 -627 - Approving the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and
the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, District Council 14, Local 1842
regarding the inclusion of Water Meter Repairers into the bargaining unit 1995 -1996. (Laid over from
June 12 for adoption)
11. Resolution - 96 -682 - Approving the appointments of Michael A. Lee, Daniel M. Fleischhacker, and
Robert Brokopp, by Mayor Coleman, to the Truth -In- Housing Board of Evaluators. (To be laid over one
week or adoption)
12. Resolution - 96 -683 - Approving payment of $4,965.77 to Farmers Insurance Group as subrogee for
Xay Vang in full settlement of their claim against the City of Saint Paul.
13. Resolution - 96 -684 - Approving payment of $5,447.45 to Charlotte Williams in full settlement of
her claim against the City of Saint Paul.
14. Resolution - 96 -685 - Authorizing the proper City officials to accept a donation in the amount of
$6,990 from the Minnesota Regional Arts Council to help fund the Como Park Artist's Residence After

15. Resolution - 96 -686 - Changing the rate of pay for Parks and Recreation Assistant in the Salary and
Rates of Compensation Resolution.
16. Resolution - 96 -687 - Giving local approval to special legislation that reduces the early retirement
penalty for members of the Saint Paul Police and Fire Consolidated PERA accounts.
17. Resolution - 96 -688 - Authorizing and directing the proper City officials to convey, by quit -claim
deed, any interest the City may hold in a part of vacated Sixth Street to the Saint Paul Companies.
18. Resolution - 96 -689 - Deleting assessment for summary abatement for 2176 West Seventh Street.
19. Resolution - 96 -690 - Approving the addition of the following organizations to the 1996 Charitable
Gambling 10% Club: Boy Scout Troop 466, Circus of the Star, El Rio Vista Booster Club, Griggs
Booster Club, Hancock Booster Club, Mariucci Inner City Hockey, St. Anthony Park Booster Club,
Volunteers for Eastside Youth, and Willie Carter Youth Foundation, Inc.
20. Resolution - 96 -691 - Accepting a $2,975,000 grant from the Minnesota State Transportation Fund
for construction of the Wabasha Street Bridge.
21. Resolution - 96 -692 - Finalizing City Council action taken May 22, 1996, approving the application
of Mike Kennedy for a preliminary and final plat to allow property at 895 South McKnight Road to be
subdivided into eight individual lots for single family homes.

22. Report from the Mayor's Office on how to retain the Minnesota Relay Service in Saint Paul.

23. Second Reading - 96 -642 - An ordinance amending Section 293.07 of the Saint Paul Legislative
Code relating to noise regulation of radios and similar devices.
24. First Reading - 96 -693 - An ordinance finalizing City Council action taken May 22, 1996, approving
the application of W.A. Frost to rezone property at 374 Selby Avenue from RM -2 to B-

25. First Reading - 96 -694 - An ordinance amending Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code
pertaining to Zoning.

agreement with the County of Ramsey providing for the consolidation and transfer of various public
