Resolution - 95 -1108 - Approving payment of $7,900 to Thomas Benedum in full settlement of his claim against the City of St. Paul. 19. Resolution - 95 -1110 - Increasing the general fund spending and financing plans by $12,029 in the Police Department for overtime and cellular phone service in association with the School Liaison Program. 21. Resolution - 95 -1111 - Granting authority to the Police Department to enter into a lease agreement with the State of Minnesota to lease 120 parking spaces from "parking lot Y" between Minnesota Street, Columbus Avenue, Robert Street, and 12th Street. 22. Resolution - 95 -1112 - Accepting $202,000 in additional State discretionary funding to provide re- employment and training services to workers dislocated by company downsizing at Unisys. 23. Resolution - 95 -1113 - Requesting payment of State Grant in connection with the Science Museum proj ect. 24. Resolution - 95 -1114 - Entering into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety for the project entitled "Safe & Sober Communities" during the period October 1, 1995, through January 31, 1997. 25. Resolution - 95 -1115 - Authorizing the Department of Fire and Safety Services to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety for public schools fire inspections. 26. Preliminary Order - 95 -1116 - In the matter of constructing concrete curb and gutter, new bituminous surfaced roadway, concrete driveway aprons, boulevard sodding, tree planting, water and sewer service connections and reconnections, sanitary sewer re pairs, and a lantern style lighting system in the area called Hatch/Park RSP (Area 35) bounded by Sycamore, Maryland, Rice and Jackson, and setting date of public hearing for November 15, 1995. Second Reading - 95 -1089 - An ordinance amending Chapter 50 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to sewer systems; changing definitions. COMMITTEE REPORTS 32. Resolution - 95 -849 - Requesting the Department of Public Works and the Police Department to develop a strategy to help make St. Paul streets safer from speeders and reckless drivers, that the City Council request that the Minnesota State Legislature allow the City of St. Paul to be creative in traffic enforcement, and that the City adopt, with community input, a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for traffic violators. Third Reading - 95 -1043 - An ordinance designating that Hillcrest Avenue bounded by Cleveland Avenue and Kenneth Street become a one -way street (eastbound). 34. Third Reading - 95 -1060 - An ordinance amending Chapter 60 of the St. Paul Legislative Code pertaining to adult bookstore zoning. (Proposed substitute containing amortization is included) 35. Resolution - 95 -1120 - Approving application for an Off Sale Malt, Gas Station and Grocery -C License by Kwik Trip (Robert White), 1608 Rice Street. (ID 459450) 36. Resolution - 95 -1096 - Order the owner(s) to remove or repair the building at 500 Bush Avenue within fifteen (15) days from adoption of resolution.
