17. Resolution - 95 -1500 - Approving payment of $6,544.73 to Fire Captain James M. Mersch in full
settlement of his claim for premium pay differentials.
18. Resolution - 95 -1501 - Authorizing the Office of the City Attorney to retain outside counsel to
represent the City in a workers' compensation claim for an employee in the Division of Libraries.
19. Resolution - 95 -1502 - Authorizing the Office of the City Attorney to retain outside counsel to
represent the City in a workers' compensation claim for an employee in the Department of Fire and
Safety Services.
20. Resolution - 95 -1503 - Approving a contract for water service between the Board of Water
Commissioners and the City of Mendota Heights.
21. Resolution - 95 -1504 - Approving a $500,000 loan, repayable by 1998, from the General Fund to the
Real Estate Management Fund for installing electronic controls on City Hall Annex elevators.
22. Resolution - 95 -1505 - Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an agreement with outside
vendors to lease vehicles for investigative purposes, and to save and hold harmless the supplier of the
vehicles.
23. Resolution - 95 -1506 - Approving a 5% increase in "use -of- street" permit fees as regulated by
Chapter 125 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code "Street Obstructions ".
24. Resolution - 95 -1507 - Approving cancellation of Registered Bill No. 007766 issued September 12,
1984, to the State of Minnesota for traffic advice and engineering services.

Occupancy reinspection fees, adding new inspections fees and providing a discounted fee for immediate
code compliance.
36. Second Reading - 95 -1482 - An ordinance amending Chapter 56 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code,
entitled "Fire Prevention - Miscellaneous ", by deleting Section 56.02, fire drills; Section 56.03, fire
