Driving down on Randolph Ave
East Bound towards St Paul Summitt School Campus on Randolph, there are 4 huge potholes. Being this is a single lane road, my car hit two huge
Potholes one after the other between Prior, Howell and Fairview (Between St Catherine and St Joseph's campuses). The impact was so major that
it took my front right dirver tire, front grill and bent rims and made a major damage to the rear driver tire on the side. I had to pull over
and call roadside assistance and had to have the car towed to the dealership. I was picking up the kids from the school and we were stranded for 4 plus
hours until the car was able to be towed. Currently the car is in service. City of St Paul is responsible for not maintaining the street
and has thus crearted a major hazard for drivers and is totally responsible for damages caused to the car and should pay for the repairs and towing

note on how many times these potholes have been reported to the City of St Paul prior to the event and nothing has been done about it and now our car has suffered damages.

Please note that these potholes were reported several times prior to this event. We called St
Paul Public Works - talked to someone named Ryan at 651-266-9700, who informed us that
they were aware of the issues on the Randolph street, in St Paul and that it is in their system
already due to many complaints already received about them. But that the city could not do
anything about them at this time. He could not give us an estimated time of filling the holes.
We must drive this street to pick up our children as they are on Randolph campus. City of St
Paul knew this was an issue. The potholes are so big that in order to avoid them one could get
into dangerous head on accidents due to two way traffic on two single lanes with snow pile up
and cars parked on either side of the street. Despite all the reporting, and the care we have
taken to drive to school. My car got a major impact now and the cost of repairs were due to
the city’s inability to fix the potholes in a reasonable amount of time.
