September 8th, 15th, and the 22nd. The entire budget schedule is also attached as an excel spreadsheet.
Please let me know if any Directors and/or staff identified for presentation to the City Council have
scheduling conflicts. We will try to accommodate minor scheduling conflicts as best as we can. As

What are schools being charged and are the increase in fees causing some schools to go to
other centers outside of the City of Saint Paul? (The subject of fees for recreation services

2. Is it possible to expand internet access at recreation centers working in cooperation with

3. Compare City Golf Course Fees with Other Local Public and Private Golf Course Fees To

5. What is the complete history of using the police pension savings to pay for so called
Clinton cops? (Lantry)
6. How do we measure the Police Department's overall and specific performance in certain

facilities (such as 1441 Rice Street and 2097 Grand Avenue) are no longer in operation.

9. Do Traffic Enforcement Officers generate sufficient revenue to cover their total cost? If
so, could additional officers be hired to work exclusively in the neighborhoods to enforce
neighborhood parking regulations? Have parking enforcement revenues been sufficient to
reaching estimates? (Benanav)
10. Can local college security personnel be authorized to issue parking tickets? (Benanav)
11. What is the deployment of radar devices to detect speeding? How many and/or
motorcycles have the devices? How does our deployment of these seed checking devices
compare to other similar cities? (Helgen)
12. How does the police department plan and deploy resources to meet the divergent
community policing needs of the neighborhoods in the City? (Helgen)
