25 feet is proposed, for a variance of 5 feet.

1) Approve the Agreement between Ramsey County and the Soo Line Railroad
Company prepared for the installation of a concrete grade crossing surface on
County Road B (CSAH 25);
2) Authorize the Chair and Chief Clerk to execute the above-named agreement on
behalf of Ramsey County;
3) Authorize the County Manager to approve the necessary budget adjustment in
the amount of$19,085, increasing estimated revenues and appropriations; and
4) Approve a temporary cash loan of up to $19,085 from the County General Fund
to the Road and Bridge CIP fund until receipt of County State Aid Highway fund
reimbursement.

1) Approve Agreement PW2004-05 with the Cities of Vadnais Heights and Gem
Lake for design services on County Road E at TH61;
2) Authorize the Chair and Chief Clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of
Ramsey County;
3) Authorize the County Manager to approve a budget adjustment in the amount
of$46,600 to accomplish this work; and
4) Approve a temporary cash loan of up to $46,600, from the County General
Fund to the Road and Bridge CIP fund, until receipt of State Aid and
participating funds.
8.5 PUBLIC WORKS/PUBLIC HEALTH - New Waste Oil Facility and Seasonal
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site.
Board Action Requested:
1) Authorize the Public Works Department to submit a request to the City of Arden
Hills Planning Commission for an amended Supplemental Use Permit for a
combined waste oil facility and seasonal household hazardous waste (HHW)
collection facility at the new Public Works facility in Arden Hills;
2) Authorize the County Manager to execute the amended Supplemental Use
Permit;
3) Authorize the County Manager to execute necessary construction contracts for
the combined waste oil and seasonal HHW collection facility at the new Public
Works site;
4) Authorize the expenditure of up to $86,700 in Solid Waste Fund Balance to
develop the combined seasonal HHW and waste oil collection site; and
5) Authorize the County Manager to approve appropriate budget adjustments,
totaling $86,700.00.
8.6 PARKS & RECREATION -Access Agreement- Rice Creek Watershed District.
Board Action Requested:
1) Approve an Access Agreement between Ramsey County and the Rice Creek
Watershed District, which allows the District and its contractor access to the
County's Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor property to construct a
restoration project on Rice Creek; and
2) Authorize the Chair and Chief Clerk to sign the agreement.
