Dear Neighbor:
The Prior-Jefferson Residential Street Vitality Project in your neighborhood has started and
will be substantially complete later this fall. As a result of the project, you will have streets that
are smoother, safer, and better lit. In coordination with this project, N.S.P. gas service and other
utility services are being upgraded and improved.
A public hearing before the City Council for the approval of the assessments for the project, has
been scheduled for October 4, 2000. A separate notice for that meeting is included in this
mailing.
A neighborhood meeting to answer questions about the assessment rates, the project and its
funding will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2000, at the Nativity School
located at 1900 Stanford, in the auditorium.
Representatives from the Department of Public Works and the Department of Technology and
Management Services Real Estate Division will be at this meeting to field your questions.
If you have questions prior to the September 27th meeting, you can call me at 651-266-6084.
Sincerely,
