RE: WABASHA STREET BRIDGE
over Mississippi. River
City Project B-1126
ACTIN! REQUESTED:
Process Administrative Order for permit application and emergency contract.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
Scouring of river bottom at Pier No. 2 is to the extent that piles are exposed
at the upstream end. Continued scour could cause damage to the piles and
leave the pier in an unstable condition. The Minnesota Department of Transportation
is doing similar work at the Robert Street Bridge, so work can be carried out
simultaneously.
