To the Honorable the Common Council,
City of Saint Paul,
Gentlemen,—
Your petitioners / 14,,,Li

respectifully recite that they are the owners of record of Lots 1 to 14 inclusive
Block 1 Bergholtz Rearrangement "A" as noted and set after their respective
names, and they respectfully petition your honorable body to vacate the east and
west alley through Said Blo0.k 1 as shown on attached plat and colored "yellow"
The reasonsfor vacating this alley are that is has no outlet or
inlet; it is shut off in the Wfst by 'uditor' s Subdv.No.16 and on the ea^t by
Bergholtz Subdv. and can only be reached by crossing over private property,
furthermore the lots abutting on the alley are very shallow, sixty feet for
the logo facing north and 65 feetfor the lots facing south, and the vacation of the
alley"t` 1 permit your petitions is to rearrange these hots to a better advantage,
and it will pale"' the city of any further respeconbility in a public alley
which cannot be used by the public.
