Paul , andthey pray your honorable body for the vacation of the following named streets in said plat of Rest End Addition, to wit : 7 All that part of Summit Avenue South not included is within the lines of the new Test End Boulevard, so called, as now laid out ; also all of Vista Avenue from said West End Boulevard to Pleasant Avenue; and all of Albion Street from said West End Boulevard to the alley between blocks Sixteen (13) and Nineteen (19) in West End Addition; and all of Ridge Avenue from said West End Boulevard to Pleasant Ave- nue , and all of Wayland Avenue , The new West End Boulevard , 120 feet wide , for which the undersigned petitioners have given the land required through said plat of West End Addition, is a substitute for Summit Ave- nue South as the same was platted and makes said Summit Avenue South wholly useless for the purposes of a street , and all of the other streets named are laid out on very precipitous ground and are now and always will be wholly useless and of no advan- tage 'vhatever to the public as streets and merely cut up said premises into awkward parcels , which make it difficult and dis- advantageous to utilize the same for residence purposes . None of said streets have been opened or graded and it is the purpose of the undersigned petitioners to re-plat said property and to provide all proper and necessary streets there- on in order that the same may be properly opened for settle- ment and residence purposes and your petitioners therefore pray your honorable body for an order of vacation of all of the streets above named.
