RFSOLVFD by the Board of Aldermen_, one of the branches
of the Common Council of the City of St.Paul, that it is deemed
expedient that the ratter of the petition of Wilheluina Keller,
J.T .McMillan Company, and Upper Tevee Syndicate, for the vacation of
that portion of Spring Street, in the City of St.Paul, lying between
the southwestern termination of said Spring Street and a line drawn
from the south-eaxtern corner of Lot Seven(7) , Block Three(3) ,
to the northeastern corner of Lot Nine(9) , Block Six(6) , all in
Re-urrangenent of Oppenheim's Addition to St.Paul ,Minn. ,sha.11 be
proceeded with, and said petition is hereby ordered to be filed
for record with the City Clerk of said City; and
RRSOLVFD, further, that said City Clerk shall forthwith
give Notice by publication in the official paper of the City, for
four(4) weeks, at least once a week, to the effect that said
petition has been filed as aforesaid, and stating in brief its
object, and that saidpetition will be '.l heard and considered by the
Committee on Streets of the Board of Aldermen, on a certain date and
place specified in said Notice, not less than ten(10) days from
the expiration o f said publication.

TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST.PAUL:-
Your petitioners, Wilhelmina Keller, J.T.McMillan
Company, a corporation, and Upper Levee Syndicate, a corporation,
respectfully represent that said Wilhelmina Keller is the owner of
Lots Seven(?) and Eight (8) , Block Three(3) , and Lots Nine(9) ,and Ten(10)
Block Six(6) , Re-arrangement of Oppenheim's Addition to St.Paul,Minn. ;
that said J.T.McMillan Company owns land fronting on and contiguous
to the western terminus of Spring Street, in the City of St.Paul; that
the Upper Levee Syndicate owns Lots Nine(9) Sixteen(l6) , inclusive,
in Block Three(3) , and Lots One(I) to Eight(8) ,inclusive, and Lots
Twenty two(22) and Twenty three( 23) , in Block Six(6) , Re-arrangement of
Oppenheim's Addition to St.Paul, Minn. ; and that they respectfully
petition your Honorable body for the vacation of that portion of
Spring Street, from the southwestern termination of said Spring Street
to a line drawn from the southeastern corner of said Lott'"„Block 3,
to the north-eastern corner of said Lot 9 Block 6,a11 in -Re-arrangement
of Oppenheim's Addition to St.Paul, inn ; hat the above are all the
owners of all the property on the line of Spring Street from its
western terminus to North Smith Avenue.
That said Wilhelmina Keller is a resident of the said
City of St.Paul,'iamsey County,Minnesota; that said petitioning corpora-
tions are organized and existing under the laws of the State of
Minnesota,and that the facts and reasons for such vacation are as
follows:-that said property above specified is to be used for the
purpose of building an addition to the packinghouse and plant of J.T.
McMillan Company;that said Spring Street Terminates at the eastern
boundary of the property now occupied by said J.T.McMillan Company,and -
that said street or any portion thereof is not now used by the public to
any extent whatsoever.That the vacation of that portion of the street
above specified would cause no inconvenience or annoyance or damage to
any adjacent property owner,or to any of the public ,and that on the
contrary,hy virtue of the construction thereon of the buildings by the
