Gentlemen:-
Pursuant to instruction of the Committee on Streets of the
Board of Aldermen, I transmit herewith proper form of resolution
vacating a portion of Rondo street upon petition of Phineas 1'1 .
Cardozo and others; the compensation being the expenses of the pro-
ceeding and the dedication of sufficient land to open Rondo street
in a straight line through to Cretin avenue .

and colored green upon said plat, be and the same is hereby vacated and
discontinued as a public street , subject, however, to the following con-
ditions, that is to say:
Such vacation is based upon the condition that said petition-
ers shall, before this resolution takes effect, pay into the Treasury
of said City the expenses of this proceeding, and shall also dedicate
for the continuation of Rondo street in a straight line ._nc3. sixtye
feet in width to Cretin avenue, the southerly thirty feet of Block
seven (7) in said Capitol Addition, as shown and colored red on said
plat, which is fixed as the compensation for said vacation.
