. The undersigned respectfully request
that you vacates the alley known as Anchorage Place' located in
, )+ Larpentevere Subdivision A, a true plat of which is hereto
annexed and hereby made a part of this Petition, for the
following reasons , to-wit:-.
I. This alley has never been used or open for use by
the public.
2. It does not extend through the block but terminates
before reaching the Westerly ends, and even if open, is not
sufficiently wide to turn in with a vehicle.
3. The land lays some four or five feet above grade and
the expense of opening this alley would be considerable and
burdensome to the property owners.
4. The lots are already too short: those' aibuting: on the
North being only one hundred feet. in length and those on the
South a little longer.
5. There is not an alley way in a single block. between
Rice Street and Lexington. Avenue,. located between Rondo Street
' and St . Anthony Avenue and opened and used by the public.
6. There is absolutely no use for the alley- ways even
I if-open as every party has access to their buildings and
premises without this alley? w: .
7-. The property owner- - re absolutely opposed to it
being open or continued_ as is. . ,
