We , the undersigned, being a majority of the owners of
property on the line of Territorial Road between Aldine street and Fry
street , in the City of St . Paul , respectfully petition your Honorable
Body to vacate Territorial Road between Aldine street and Fry street
as shown upon the accompanying plat .
The facts and reasons for such vacation are that said road has
not been traveled or used between the above named streets for a period of
more than ten years , the sane having been closed since the opening of
Blair street between Fairview avenue and Fry street , and for the further
reason that the vacating and abandoning of said road between said points
will largely facilitate the making and collection of assessments for
local improvements in that vicinity and be a benefit to the adjoining
property .
