1905 (2) To the Honorable Common Council of the City of St. Paul:
The petition of the undresigned, Robert Jordan, August Schaefer,
ebbs Gronewald, Ernst Foerster and others, respectfully shows to your
honorable body:
That said petitioners are a majority of the owners of property on the
North and South lines of the alley hereinafter mentioned, resident
withif the City of St. Paul.
That said petitioners desire to have vacated the Northerly two ( 2 )
feet and the Southerly two (2) feet of the alley in Meyer's Subdivision
of Block 60, West St. Paul Proper, according to the recorded plat thereof
on file in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for the County of
Ramsey, and Stateof Minnesota, being a strip of land two ( 2 ) feet in
width in said alley adjacent to lots 1 to 6 inclusive, and a strip of
land two feet in width therein, adjacent to lots 7 to Ainclusive, in
said Meyer 's Subdivision.
That said alley as laid out , according to said recorded plat , is
twenty ( 20 ) feet wide, and by said proposed vacation the same would be
reduced to a width of sixteen ( 16) feet , and would still be of sufficient
width for the use and accommodation of the owners and occupants of adja-
cent property and the public , and that no one will suffer any damage or
inconvenience by such proposed vacation.
That a correct plat of the the portion of said alley proposed to be
vacated is hereto attached.
Wherefore your petition era respectfully pray that your honorable body
vacate the Northerly two ( 2 ) feet and the Southerly two ( 2 ) feet of
of said alley above described.

lot, and in addition thereto the costs an
expenses of this proceeding, which is
hereby fixed as the compensation to be
paid to said city in consideration of said
vacation.
