Notice is hereby given that the petition of the City of Saint
Paul to vacate that part of Ross Street as more fully described
on file and on record in the office of the City Clerk of Saint
Paul, Minnesota, will be heard and considered by the Saint Paul
City Council at a meeting to be held in the Council Chambers on

I recommend a public hearing before the City Council be held on August 27, 2003 to consider a
petition to vacate:
Parcel 1. That part of the alley in Block 1, Aurora Addition lying easterly of a line from the
southeast corner of Lot 12 to the northeast corner of Lot 19, all in said Block 1; and
Parcel 2. That part of Ross Avenue lying easterly of a line from the southeast corner of Lot 20,
Block 1, Aurora Addition to the northeast corner of Lot 11, Block 4, said Aurora
Addition and westerly of a line from the southeast corner of Lot 30, said Block 1 to
the northeast corner of Lot 1, said Block 4.
The purpose of the vacation is to eliminate right-of-way through the Hazel-Ross Pond.
This property is located in City Council District#6, Planning District#2.
The subject petition is in proper form and has been signed by the requisite number of property
owners.
• Notice of this hearing must be published in the Legal Ledger by August 7,2003.
