I came across these two vacation files in which the city is the petitioner. One is from last and
hadn't been signed by the Mayor yet so I sent another copy up to Susan Kimberly. The other
is from this past winter. Please prepare prints for both of them.
The vacation of the right of way as part of the Wabasha bridge in the City of St. Paul as fully
described in Council File 98-748.
And the vacation of the portions of Goffin's Addition and Maryland Heights as more fully
explained in Council File 99-141.

3 BE IT RESOLVED, that, upon the petition of the City of Saint Paul; as documented in Technology
4 Department File Number 1998-03, the public property hereinafter described is hereby vacated and
5 discontinued as public property and, subject to the herein stated exceptions.

8 The property to be vacated is described as follows: See Attached Exhibit `B"

12 This vacation shall be subject to the terms and condition of Chapter 130, codified March 1, 1981, of the
13 Saint Paul Legislative Code as amended, and to the following conditions:

17 1. That the petitioner's their successors, and assigns agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless
18 the City of Saint Paul, its officers, and employees from all suits, actions, or claims of any
19 character brought as a result of injuries or damages received or sustained by any person, persons,
20 or property on account of this vacation or petitioner's their successors' or assign's use of this
21 property, including but not limited to a claim brought because of any act of omission, neglect, or
22 misconduct of said petitioner or because of any claims or liability arising from any violation of
23 any law or regulation made in accordance with the law, whether by the petitioner or any of their
24 agents or employees.

Minnesota, lying Easterly of a line running from a point on the Northwesterly line of
said Lot 2 and 15.00 feet Northeasterly from the Northwest corner of said Lot 2 to a
point on the Southeasterly line of said Lot 2 and 30.00 feet Northeasterly from the
Southwest corner of said Lot 2; together with that part of Lot 1, said Block A lying
southwesterly of Line A described below:

angle to, the following described line:
Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Wabasha and Fourth
Streets as shown on the recorded plat of the City of St. Paul, Ramsey
County,Minnesota, said intersection more specifically described as being
the following point in the ._Ramsey County Coordinate System as
published by the Ramsey County Public Works Department, Land Survey
Division, final adjustment December 17, 1991, based upon the North
American Datum of 1933 (1986 adjustment) (Y-coordinate = 156192.903
feet and X-coordinate = 575004.021 feet); thence South 34 degrees 32
minutes 47 seconds East (all bearings herein being per said Ramsey
County Coordinate System) along the center line of said Wabasha Street,
351.44 feet to the following point in said Ramsey County Coordinate
System (Y-coordinate 155903.433 feet and X-coordinate = 575203.314
feet); thence North 55 degrees 41 minutes 11 seconds East, 0.49 feet; thence
South 34 degrees 32 minutes 47 seconds East 119.60 feet; thence South 32
degrees 23 minutes 47 seconds East 547.99 feet; thence Southeasterly along
a 934.25 foot radius tangential curve, concave to the southwest, central
angle 09 degrees 15 minutes 59 seconds, a distance of 159.18 feet; thence
South 23 degrees 07 minutes 43 seconds East, tangent to said curve,476.71
feet; thence North 66 degrees 52 minutes 13 seconds East 66.14 feet; thence
easterly and southeasterly along a 140.00 foot radius, tangential curve,
concave to the south, central angle 81 degrees 53 minutes 42 seconds a
distance of 200.11 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described;
