Dear Mr. Donovan: The hearing for the proposed vacation of the alley in Block 1 , Oliver and Murphy's Addition is scheduled for June 23, 1971 . This alley is unimproved, and it is platted to a width of 16 feet and a length of 240 feet. A substantial amount of material has been excavated from this block and within the area of the alley. Sims Avenue is a platted and unimproved street 103.87 feet south of the alley and a 2 to 1 slope must be maintained northerly from the north side of Sims Avenue.
