Pond, and others, for the vacation of the alley in the block bounded by Birmingham Street, Win- chell Street, Arlington Avenue, and the south line of Scherers Subdivision No. 1 Hearing - June 28, 1967 The portion of the alley petitioned to be vacated is a dedicated alley and is zoned "A" residential, being a strip 20 feet wide by 376 feet. The alley is unimproved with the majority of the land being sodded or improved with shrubbery, lawn, and plantings, and terminates in a dead end. There were no objections to the proposed vacation from any of the pub- lic offices involved, nor from any of the private utility companies. I, therefore, recommend that the petition be granted, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1.
