Hearing - December 15, 1971 The petitioner, the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, request the vacation of the referenced alley pursuant to the requirements of Council File No. 2551+85 approved August 27, 1971 wherein the petitioner was to file a supplemental petition calling for the subject vacation. The alley is unimproved, measures 20 feet in width by 139.5 feet in length, contains an area of 2,790 square feet, and the adjoining lands are zoned "B" Residential. There were no objections from any of the public or private agencies involved, therefore I recommend the vacation be granted subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. That the description read as follows: Vacate the West 20 feet of Lot 9, Block 2, The House of the Good Shepherd's Addition to St. Paul also the Westerly 20 feet of the alley as platted in said Block 2, The House of the Good Shepherd's Addition to St. Paul. 2. That the vacation be subject to all the terms and conditions of Section 228 of the Legislative Code as amended. 3. That the petitioner agree to purchase the land described herein pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in Section 87A of the Legislative Code. 4.
