Subject: r TMS Department Vacation File No 9-1999
I have requested a date of October 27, 1999 for a Public Hearing to approve the
attached Council Resolution. The purpose of the resolution is to vacate the east west
alley, Block 3, F. W. Hoyts Rearrangement of Lots 25, 26, and 27, Hall and Brown's
Addition to Hyde Park between Lexington Avenue, as widened and 153 feet west of
Lexington Avenue, because the alley is unimproved and Public Works has no intention
to improve that part of the alley. (Vacation File number 9-1999)
I have enclosed photocopies of the Green Sheet, the Council Resolution, and a map
of the area to be vacated. Please let me know if there is anything else you might need for
this. These properties are located in City District 5, Planning District 6.
This petition is in proper form.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to call me at 266-8862.
Thanks.
