That the petitioner's, their successors and assigns shall pay$500.00 as an administrative fee for 17 this vacation which is due and payable within 60 days of the effective date of this resolution. 18 19 2. That a permanent utility easement shall be retained within the vacated area to protect the interest 20 of Northern States Power Company. 21 22 3. That, with the accompanying Utility Easement Certificates of Intended Non-Use, filed 23 voluntarily on behalf of Qwest Communications, Incorporated, District Energy St. Paul, 24 Incorporated, MCI Metro Incorporated, MediaOne, The Saint Paul Regional Water Services, and 25 The Department of Public Works, made a part hereof by this reference and filed in the office of.. 26 the City Clerk of Saint Paul, the City, for itself and on behalf of these corporations and 27 departments, waives the right to the utility easements in the vacated area described above. 28 .4. 1621904 o'o -loc. We request this vacation for the following reasons: Total Tool Supply, Inc. ("Total Tool") operates a manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facility on property located at 315 N. Pierce Street, which lies easterly of and contiguous to the Aldine Street Property. Total Tool wishes to expand the existing facility through construction of a new building addition, covered storage, loading docks and related driveway and parking areas. The proposed expansion will include redevelopment of the Aldine Street Property and the vacant land lying westerly of and contiguous thereto. The Aldine Street Property is largely unimproved, but Total Tool currently utilizes the easterly portion of this property for additional driveway access to its facility.
